SWEDISH VERSION TO PROJECTJan Svenungsson set off into the midsummer night, that brightest of all nights, and photographed his pillar. Using a computer, he then erased the pillar - made its metal transparent - enriching in this way the winter darkness with the memory of the warm summer night. What we see is the reminiscence of a place, the surroundings are the same, but the perception is new.
