"Virtuell Skorsten i Verkligheten" (Virtual Chimney in Reality) is the name J.S. gave his proposal for the large competition Längs Strömmen. Statens Konstråd (The State Council for the Arts) made this an open competition in the first phase: 395 artist sent in anonymous proposals for public art in the central area of Norrköping known as Industrilandskapet (The Industrial Landscape) - one of Sweden's earliest industrial areas, now being transformed to house various intellectual activities; university, computer businesse, etc.
