Catalogue for the exhibition "Test 88-108" at Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin. Kay Heymer, who in 1993 had already written a text on the "Test" paintings, which was never published, was invited to expand upon his earlier text in order to "explain everything". From this point on he was free to work in whichever way he liked. A collaborative interview piece was later made using transscripts of a working-discussion for the book. In 1997 a Swedish translation was published as a wall-drawing in an exhibition at Galleri 54 in Göteborg.
Design by the artist. Bound in hardcover and doubles-sided; the English translation (by Andrew Shields) reads from the opposite side of the German original. Size 20x13,5 cm. Edition 1000. No pictures.
